I watched this movie last night. It's a documentary about the American Song Poem phenomenon. Average everyday folks can send in their poems and have them set to music. This documentary explores both the eccentric folks who sent in poetry and the team of crack studio musicians who writes and plays the tunes. it's both heartbreaking oddly optimistic. Kind of like America itself.
